The role: Marketing and Events Assistant
Location: Preston and/or Merseyside (With travel to other offices)
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive

Working within the busy marketing team and providing operational and administrative support with a wide range of marketing activities, the key responsibilities of this role will be:

• Production, printing and mailing of external and internal marketing communications
• Organising and attending marketing related events and managing the attendees
• Working with sector teams to produce support materials as required
• Ensuring all records are up to date and compliant with GDPR
• Organising meetings and producing reports for the marketing team and partners
• Producing detailed research packs for business meetings and maintaining a concise record of all business development activity
• Ensuring intermediaries receive newswires and regular updates
• Supporting the marketing team and communicating the firm’s values and objectives both internally and externally in a positive and motivational manner
• Championing organic growth of existing services

The essential skills required for this role are:

• GCSE Maths and English at grade B or above and a high standard of written English
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
• Be able to work as part of a team and independently.
• A high level of attention to detail and ability to demonstrate initiative
• Effective time management skills

Desirable skills for this role include:

• Previous marketing experience working within a professional business environment
• Driving licence
• Previous experience of mailchimp or wordpress
