We have an excellent opportunity for an HR Administrator to support the HR Team based at our Preston office

20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm
to 5:30 pm)
c. £14,000 per annum (full time equivalent) -
Actual c. £8,000 per annum
Benefits package (after qualifying period)
The key responsibilities of this post will
be to provide administrative support to the HR team and provide cover on
Reception. The principal duties will
include the following:
· Managing
holiday entitlements for staff and updating the internal systems
· Booking
training courses, logging expenditure and coordinating post course evaluation
data
· Dealing
with student enrolments and associated administration
· Collating,
monitoring and reporting on HR data
· Supporting
the HR team with general administration tasks, including telephone call
handling along with other ad hoc duties and project work as required
· Providing
reception/switchboard cover from 4:30-5:30 each day
This will be a
busy role interacting with both staff and clients, therefore, you will need to
have a professional attitude along with a flexible approach to a varied workload.
To be
considered for this position, applicants will need to have:
· GCSE
Grade B English (minimum) or an equivalent qualification
· A
minimum of 2 years’ office administration experience
· A
good working knowledge of Word and Excel
· Excellent
organisation skills
· Good
communication skills both written and verbal
To be successful in this role, you will need
to have well-developed interpersonal skills, be a good team player and be able
to produce work to a very high standard.
You will also need to be able to manage the demands of working on confidential
matters within the HR team alongside your reception duties.
Previous experience gained in an HR
environment or in a professional practice is desirable, but not essential.
