Accounts Semi-Senior (AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified Accountant)
Moore and Smalley- Nottingham
Full time (35 hours per week)

Supporting our Healthcare Services team in Nottingham to deliver a quality service to a range of clients, the principal duties of this role will be to plan, prepare and undertake accounts assignments for manager.partner review. The key responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Preparing annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Preparing draft tax computations alongside the accounts work
  • Preparing draft superannuation certificates

The successful applicant will need to be able to plan and prioritise their own workload, be able to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner, and be a good team player, to ensure the team as a whole meets its objectives.

To be considered for this position, applicants will need to possess the following:
  • AAT (or part ACA/ACCA qualification)
  • A minimum of two years' generalist experience in an accounts role within practice
  • GCSE grade B in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel
  • A driving license and a car insured for business use

Experience of medical accounts will be advantageous.
