Supporting our Corporate Services team in Blackpool to deliver a quality service to clients, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Looking after a range of clients and preparing assignments to strict deadlines for review      
  • Co-ordinating compliance service delivery to clients         
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients and the client service team     
  • Arranging pre-completion meetings with managers/partners and completion meetings with clients        
  • Planning the approach to assignments following partner briefing        
  • Ensuring jobs are adequately resourced      
  • Supervising teams of staff onsite, ensuring they are suitably trained       
  • Highlighting issues which the partner needs to discuss with the client       
  • Review work in progress and fee budgets on a monthly basis Identify opportunities to introduce other services 
We are seeking a candidate who is committed to providing outstanding client service, whilst concurrently taking responsibility for their own personal development. The successful candidate will also be able to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner, and be a good team player, to ensure the team as a whole meets its objectives.

Our ideal candidate will:  
  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified         
  • Have up to date technical knowledge of Auditing and Financial Reporting Standards         
  • Have a general understanding of auditing and accounting principles     
  • Have effective communication skills     
  • Be attentive to detail     
  • Be a team player    
  • Be solutions focused 
Strong IT skills are essential in this role, with candidates ideally being competent in all Microsoft packages as well as accounts production, audit and corporation tax software, Sage Line 50 and preferably some experience of cloud based accounting software.
