Working in a busy tax department incorporating income tax, corporation tax and all aspects of tax planning to include:
• Corporation tax compliance, conducting critical reviews of tax computations prepared by non-tax specialists
• Group company tax computations and claims
• Capital allowance claims
• Research and development claims
• Supporting the tax partner and director on tax planning projects, including company restructuring, employee share schemes, EIS and SEIS shares
• Year end tax planning

Candidates will need to have a natural ability to work well with people and be able to develop good and trusting relationships with our clients. A commitment to delivering exceptional client service alongside being a good team player will be the key to success in this role.

To be considered for this position, applicants will need to have:

• CTA qualification or be qualified by experience
• Experience of corporation tax compliance
• A strong working knowledge of personal tax
• Confidence in taking the initiative on projects
• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to tailor communication appropriately
• A strong commercial awareness and great attention to detail
• Flexibility in working practices to support client needs
• A solutions focussed approach
