 What does the role entail? 

  • Working closely with the Regional Chair as their trusted “right hand person”, providing confidential PA support to include extensive diary management, partner and staff liaison, client liaison, email management, and note taking.
  • Representing the Regional Chair as appropriate, dealing with email responses, and drafting correspondence for matters that can be dealt with on his behalf.
  • Acting as gatekeeper of the Regional Chair, including screening calls, intercepting enquiries, taking messages, re-routing, and dealing with queries.
  • Arranging and co-ordinating all meetings, including planning and prepping as appropriate, and keeping the Regional Chair on top of actions.
  • Organising and co-ordinating partner conference, partner meetings, staff briefings, team events, firmwide social activities, and private dining events.
  • Providing support to and being a link between the Regional Operations Team and wider Partnership, to include collating reports, scheduling meetings, following up on action points, organising and planning appropriate communications, and providing support around the firm’s strategic plans.
  • Providing support for the Financial Planning/Wealth Management aspects of the Regional Chair’s role including liaison with the Financial Planning/ Wealth Management Team, and clients, as appropriate.
  • Liaising with HR and Marketing in respect of interviews, inductions, PR opportunities and public appearances.
  • Mini project management, process improvement and reporting, creation of presentations, as directed.
  • Organising travel, accommodation and expenses.

Essential Skills:  

  • Previous senior level PA experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and diary management skills.
  • First class communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, and an ability to draft and write communications.
  • The ability to work autonomously, taking the initiative, with confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – confident, precise, decisive, calm under pressure
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, multi-task and prioritise an everchanging workload.
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Friendly and approachable and an ability to build relationships at all levels across the business, with our clients and with any external contacts.
  • Advanced experience using the full Microsoft Office suite.
